Description
The Lodge at the Walled Garden of Melville Castle was built between 1831 and 1841. It is a single-storey structure located to the west of the walled garden. The lodge has a roughly square plan and features a two-bay northern front. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with ashlar margins. The northern entrance includes a door, accompanied by a 12-pane timber sash and case window to the right. The roof is tall and piended, covered with slate, and has a central chimney stack.
