Description

Style of William Flockhart, circa 1900. English Vernacular

Revival, Arts and Crafts detail. 2 storey asymmetrical house

with tiled and slated mansard roof. Pronounced front chimney

pierced with small ground floor windows lighting inglenook.

Dry-dashed with deep coved plastered eaves. Vertical timber

studding on gablet and porch, with Tudor arched doorway and

heavy wooden door. Wrought iron scroll brackets to rhones;

wrought iron weather vane. New wing and garage to rear, in

similar style.
