Description
Keppoch House is a circa 1830 house of two storeys and three bays, with projecting, full-height bowed bays to the exterior. A first-floor balcony with an ornate cast-iron balustrade featuring anthemion motifs links the bowed bays and sits above the central front door. A circa 1900 two-storey wing of two bays was added to the west gable; its inner bay is set back. A small, single-storey addition is present at the east gable. The house is pink harled with ashlar margins. The bowed windows have tripartite designs (with smaller upper sashes) and curved slated roofs topped with small ball finials. A fanlight is above the panelled front door, and the windows are fitted with two and four-pane glazing. Margined end stacks rise through the slate roof. A wide flight of stone steps leads down to the garden, with a later 19th-century sundial at the top.
