Description

Crackaig is an extensive farmhouse range that likely includes a house from the late 18th or early 19th century. It underwent alterations and additions by Edward Blore in 1843. The building is a long, two-storey structure featuring advanced crowstepped gables with wallhead stalks. There is a projecting porch with shouldered heads for the window and door, and to the right, a three-light bay window with a stone slab pantile roof. Above this bay window, there is another window that breaks the eaves, topped with a finialled gablet head. The exterior is harled and has chamfered stone dressings around the windows, along with corniced stacks and slate roofs.
