Clynemilton East

Clynemilton East is a mid-18th century, two-storey house featuring a wide three-bay layout. The exterior is harled with chamfered ashlar margins, which are particularly wide around the ground floor windows. The symmetrical front has a central door that is concealed by a later bowed porch topped with a bowed and piended slate roof. On the first floor, there are three small windows, while the ground floor includes one window, along with one small window on the first floor and a diminutive attic window located in the west gable. There is also a later single-storey, narrow two-bay extension at the east gable. The ground floor windows have 12-pane glazing, and the first-floor windows have 6-pane glazing. The house features crowsteps, cavetto skewputts, end stacks, and a slate roof, along with a small lean-to at the rear. Additionally, there is a coped dry stone garden wall surrounding the property.
