Description
Lienassie House and Barn comprises an early 19th century, three-bay, two-storey and attic farmhouse with a single-storey, two-bay wing attached to its east gable. The farmhouse is harled and features a projecting gabled porch to the centre front door, with small windows to the first floor. There are two piended dormers, and the windows are fitted with four-pane glazing. End stacks are present, and the roof is slate.
Adjacent to the farmhouse is an early to mid 19th century harled rubble threshing barn, running along an east-west axis. The barn has a round-headed central entrance with paired, divided winnowing doors. Flanking this are depressed arched, louvred vents; the vent to the left has been altered to create a doorway. A similar vent is located on the south gable, and a further vent on the north gable has been converted into a doorway. The threshing floor is wooden, set above a beaten earth flooring.
