Description

The bridge over the Slugan Burn at Kinloch Castle, built around 1900, is made of reddish concrete and faced with bull-faced ashlar, featuring polished ashlar dressings. It has a depressed bull-faced single arch ring that is slightly skewed, defined by a moulded string course. The bridge includes a crenellated parapet that slightly projects over a blocked band course. At each end, there are square terminal piers with flat moulded caps topped by ball finials. The approximate span of the bridge is 36 feet.
