Description

The building is a mid-19th century circular kiln made of rubble, located at Kinloch Pier on the island of Rum. It is positioned against a low natural slope that leads to an approach path to the upper part of the site. The kiln features a round-headed entrance with a dressed rubble arch ring that opens to the draw hole.
