Description
Knockfin House is a late 18th century, two-storey, symmetrical three-bay house, facing south. A later single-storey wing with a gabled roof extends from the east gable. The main house has been white harled. The central doorway is concealed by a later timber porch featuring dummy timber frame detailing in a gablet. A single return window is present in the west return gable, and the first-floor windows are small in scale. The main house has four-pane glazing, with end stacks and a slate roof. To the right of and east of the main dwelling is a free-standing, small, single-storey range of outbuildings with an attic but no dormers, constructed of whitewashed rubble and featuring an end stack and slate roof. The statutory address of the property is Knockfin House, by Tomich.
