Description

The former signal box in Rogart South, built in 1891 by Dutton and Company, is a two-storey structure with a rectangular plan. It features timber weather-boarding and cover-strip construction. The eastern side has a projecting half-gabled porch, and there is a timber forestair with a handrail leading to the landing. A single rectangular window is present in the former locking room, while the former control room boasts a continuous glazed frontage with six and nine-pane timber glazing. The building is adorned with decorative bargeboards and has a corrugated metal roof.
