Description
The building is a signal box constructed around 1880. It is made of timber and features a Welsh slate roof. This tall, three-storey structure has a single window on the ground floor facing the railway line, with a similar window directly above it. On the side, there is a two-flight wooden staircase that leads to a doorway at first floor level. The upper section of the box includes two 12-light windows facing the railway line and a single 12-light window on each of the side facades. The gables have small upper windows, barge boards, and finials. Additionally, the upper floor is surrounded by a continuous balcony on three sides.
