Inninbeg, Bay Cottage, Ardtornish Estate

Inninbeg, Bay Cottage, located on the Ardtornish Estate, is a pair of semi-detached estate cottages built in 1879, likely designed by Samuel Barham. The cottages are two stories high and have two bays, with their exteriors finished in rendered concrete.

Each cottage has entrances located in the east and west gables, both sheltered by slated canopies. A similar canopy extends continuously across the paired center tripartites on the south (front) elevation. The cottages feature substantial paired gablets with bipartite windows in the center of the south elevation, and there are similar windows in the first floor east and west gables, all under hoodmoulds and with multi-pane glazing.

A single central stack with a battery of flues is present, and the slate roofs project over deep bracketed eaves. At the rear, there are single-storey service buildings that also have similarly designed deeply glazed slated roofs.
