Description

Late 18th century, large 2-storey farm steading built as

hollow square. All harl pointed rubble with tooled rubble

dressings. 3-bay south frontage paired segmental headed

arched bays with square loft vents above, flanked to SW by

later projecting gabled bay with 2 rows pigeon flight holes

with continuous alighting ledges in gable. South elevation

fronted by high walled courtyard divided as 2 by wall with 2

front and single side entrance.

Long 2-storey east return devation with high segmental headed

entrance to inner court and with further loft vents above.

Further enlarged entrance with double doors. Within inner

court the west side furnished with further segmental headed

arched bays, probably sheepfolds. Byre and stable

accommodation. Slated piended and gabled roofs.
