Description

Dated 1844. Simple rectangular church reduced in height after

damage by fire of circa 1960 and subsequent restoration.

Harled with contrasting striated red sandstone ashlar margins. Symmetrical 6-bay S elevation with square-headed entrances in

outer bays, and 4 regularly spaced pointed-headed windows with

blocked imposts; similar windows in N elevation and in centre

of each return gable. Multi-pane glazing. Gable apex finials;

slate roof.

Low coped front retaining wall with simple coped square piers

flanking centre and side entrances.

Interior; simple interior re-cast and divided into 3 areas,

entrance lobby, church and Minister's room. Church in centre

portion; octagonal pulpit with some cusped panelling.
