Description

The Old Manse is a two-storey, three-bay house built in 1845. It is harled with contrasting, painted tooled ashlar margins. The south front is symmetrical, featuring a central door and large windows. Later additions include windows on the east return gable and ground floor. The windows are mostly 12-pane sash windows. The building has corniced end stacks and a slate roof. The property includes a wall and gate piers. A reference to the building appears in Ewing’s Annals of the Free Church, volume ii, page 221.
