Description
Anvil House is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house located on a corner site in Helmsdale, where Strathnaver Street meets Stittenham Street. The house has a harled exterior with painted reveals. A door is positioned slightly off-centre, with a first-floor window directly above it. The first-floor windows are relatively small, and contain four-pane glazing. There are chimney stacks at each end of the roof, which is covered with slate. A lean-to extension adjoins the south-east gable, and a further wing extends to the south-west.
