Description
Grove Cottage, located on Rosslyn Street in Brora, was built in 1845. It is a two-storey, symmetrical house with three bays, constructed from coursed rubble with tooled ashlar margins. The front features a double leaf panelled centre door and two-pane glazing, along with corniced stacks at each end.
To the northeast, there is a single-storey, irregular wing with five bays. This wing is harled and has painted margins, with two entrances, one of which is concealed by a projecting piended porch. The glazing in this section varies, and it has ridge and end stacks.
The roofs of the cottage and wing are covered with slate. At the rear of the property, there is a range of farm buildings. Additionally, there is a coped rubble wall that encloses the front garden.
