Description

Arabella House is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house that underwent alterations and additions by A. Maitland and Sons in 1882. The house features a central projecting bowed bay that rises to full height on the south elevation, with extensive additions at the rear. The exterior is harled with ashlar margins. The east elevation has a later segmental headed entrance. The south bow includes three windows on both the ground and first floors, each with 12-pane glazing. The house has a crenellated wallhead and hipped end stacks on the older portion, topped with a piended slate roof.
