Description
The building is a two-story, seven-bay symmetrical factory range facing southwest. A central entrance door is visible. It likely dates to the 18th century and was probably used as a weaving shed; it now functions as a joiner’s shop. Milton was originally laid out as an estate village associated with Redcastle. The building’s construction is of rubble, and it includes wide windows, with relieving arches above those at ground floor level. An upper and lower window are blocked. A bull’s eye vent is present in the southeast gable. The factory has been much altered. It is located at Milton Old Factory.
