Description

James Gillespie (Graham), circa 1810. Tudor Gothic. Coursed

rubble, with some heavy cement pointing; tooled dressings.

L-plan; 2 storeys, 3 bays to SW and 4 asymmetrical bays with

entrance to SE. Circular turret containing (formerly) stairs,

and chimneys, rises above crenellated wallhead. SE elevation

with wide south bay with 2-light ground and 1st floor

windows; pointed heads to all windows and door; Gothic

glazing, including fanlight. Shallow piended slate roof.

Later 19th century addition to NE.

Later alterations to interior, including re-siting of

staircase.
