Description
Ord Cottage is a former 18th century Episcopal Church that was converted into a dwelling soon after 1836. The building is a single storey structure with six wide bays and is harled. Originally, it had five bays with a central door on the south elevation, flanked by round-headed windows and symmetrical stacks. An additional bay was later added to the east, featuring a square-headed window.
The cottage has a modern semi-circular projecting porch with round-headed windows and a side entrance, topped with a shallow lead roof. The early round-headed windows have lying-pane glazing, while other windows display various glazing patterns. The building features ridge and end stacks and has a slate roof.
At the rear, there are two wings along with other modern alterations.
