Description
Pembridge House is a former parsonage that has been converted into a farmhouse. It dates from the 18th century, with some early 19th-century additions. The building is constructed of rendered stone and features hipped slate roofs. It has an irregular plan, generally two rooms deep with a central entrance, and additional sections to the north and south, along with end stacks.
The house is two storeys tall and has a facade with a layout of 1:3:1 bays. The outer bays are slightly lower in height and contain four glazing bar sash windows. The central doorway is framed by a canopied porch supported on brackets and features a semi-circular headed design with a decorative fanlight above a six-panelled door. The southern outer bay includes a string course, a dentilled cornice, and a parapet. On the ground floor, there is a tripartite window set within a blank semi-circular headed arch. Overall, Pembridge House presents a pleasingly symmetrical appearance.
