Description

Achmore Farm is a C19 farmhouse and steading built in 1868, designed by Alexander Ross. The farmhouse is a two-storey, three-bay structure. The central doorway is now masked by a later projecting gabled porch. The exterior is harled. It features four-pane glazing, end stacks, and a piended slate roof. A single-storey wing extends to the rear, likely representing an earlier farmhouse.

The steading consists of a single-storey, U-plan range constructed of rubble. An advertisement for tenders appeared in the Inverness Advertiser on 12 June 1868, relating to the farm's construction.
