Later 19th century 2-storey villa with symmetrical 3-bay

front; horseshoe-arched 1st floor windows with

rusticated voussoirs, shafted mullions; centre open

porch on square pillars; bipartites in outer bays.

Painted snecked ashlar; stacks; piended slate roof; 2

bays to Shields Road, the left with bowed window.

Basement to garden (S) elevation. Low boundary wall,

square ashlar gatepiers at road junction, elaborate

wrought-iron gates look circa 1900.
