Description
30, 32, and 34 Leven Street in Glasgow is a late 19th century terrace building that stands three storeys high with a basement, raised at the east due to the slope of the ground. The entrance features a grand arrangement of steps leading to three entrances. The exterior is finished in polished ashlar stone that has been cleaned, with a channelled design at the ground level. The windows above are architraved, and the first floor features consoled hoods. The terrace consists of three similar tenements, each with canted outer windows, along with two smaller tenements at the western end. The return elevations facing Shields Road and Melville Street have identical architectural treatment.
The building primarily features sash windows and has pilastered doorcases for the main door flats. A dentilled cornice runs along the top, and there are chimney stacks present. The roof is modern and covered with tiles, while decorative cast-iron balustrades are partly damaged or missing.
