Tower Buildings, 6-14 Possil Road, Glasgow

Tower Buildings, located at 6-14 Possil Road in Glasgow, were constructed in 1875. This four-storey warehouse building features five by eleven bays and a three-bay canted angle. The exterior is finished in ashlar stone, topped with a modern tiled roof. The ground floor accommodates shops, while the first and second floors are connected by a large segmentally arched arcade. The first floor has bipartite windows with flattened ogee hoodmoulds, and the second floor features windows with shallow pointed heads. There is a cill course below the arched bipartites on the third floor, and a corbel table runs along the cornice.

At the corner, there is a tower with a door at the base, and each floor of the tower has similarly detailed windows. The roof of the tower is facetted and includes modest iron brattishing.
