Description

Rockvilla School and its retaining wall, located at 184 Possil Road in Glasgow, were designed by John Honeyman and built between 1874 and 1877. The school features stepped sloping retaining walls, some of which are partly enclosed by iron railings. There is a series of walls on the northwest side, with some sections supported by an archway. The boys' gateway is positioned at the corner and is set into a high wall, while other gateways are marked by circular piers topped with conical caps.
