Warehouse, 56-64 Kingston Street, Glasgow

This building is a warehouse located at 56-64 Kingston Street in Glasgow, dated 1878. It is a five-storey structure with a symmetrical design featuring 16 bays across the front and 6 bays along the sides, constructed from ashlar stone. The ground floor originally had wooden colonnettes, most of which are now missing. A cornice runs along the top of the building.

On the first floor, there are shouldered arched windows beneath a string course, while the second and third floors feature flat ogee-headed windows. A string course is positioned above the third floor, and the fourth floor has basket arched windows. All windows have roll moulded arrises and are primarily three-paned sash and case, except for two bays of four-paned windows that face the central stairwell.

The building is topped with a main cornice, and there are three-bay pavilions at each end with panelled parapets. A central scrolled pediment, decorated with a scallop, is dated 1878. The roof is slate, and the rear of the building is constructed from brick, featuring three dormer hoists.
