Description

Presumably by city architect's office, 1930's, variant of a stock design. School, with long symmetrical (N) front ot Croftpark Avenue, and set far back from the street. 2 storeys. 3 individually-roofed and linked ranges, the inner shallow advanced with giant pilastered centrepiece containing main door; long flanking ranges each with door near to centre range, regularly disposed large - mainly square - windows with timber mullions and transoms, shallow outer pavilions. Red brick with ashlar dressings; small stacks; slate roofs. Further ranges and wings at E and at rear.
