Description
The gate piers at Aikenhead House in King's Park, Glasgow, were likely designed by David Hamilton in the early 19th century. They are made of polished ashlar, though they are now partially painted. The structure features panelled square piers, with the outer piers connected by asymmetrical quadrants. There are four inner piers, and the wrought-iron gates are not original to the design.
