Description

Kelvinway Gate Piers are 19th-century structures located at the ends of Kelvinway, where it meets University Avenue and Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow. There are two pairs of drum gatepiers made of polished ashlar, featuring bands and a base of vermiculated rustication. The gatepiers at University Avenue also support decorative wrought-iron lamp brackets.
