Cathcart South Church, 90-92 Clarkston Road, Glasgow

Cathcart South Church, located at 90-92 Clarkston Road in Glasgow, was designed by W G Rowan and built between 1893 and 1894 as Cathcart Free Church. This decorated Gothic church features a simpler adjoining hall, both of which have gabled fronts facing the street. The buildings are constructed from bull-faced ashlar with polished dressings and have slate roofs.

The church has an elaborately pinnacled and buttressed front, with a central door and a large traceried window above it, flanked by projecting stair turrets and an axial ventilator. The hall also features a traceried gable window facing the street and a porch located in the re-entrant angle.

Additionally, there is a crenellated boundary wall along the street.
