Description

James R Rhind, 1902-6. Library. Edwardian baroque. Single storey, on corner site, round-arched openings in deep recesses with - mainly paired - Ionic columns; door (with modern wheelchair ramp) at N end of Langside Road front with dome over with green copper/bronze winged figure; pedimented outer bays to symmetrical Calder Street front; polished ashlar with base and entablature, sculptured figures over balustrade near angles; concealed roof. Modern interior.
