204 Langside Road, Glasgow

191 and 193 Allison Street in Glasgow are three-storey tenements built around 1865-1880 in a late Georgian style. The buildings are constructed from cream sandstone ashlar and feature a base course that is channelled at the ground floor, a cill course at the first and second floors, architraves around the second and third floor windows, cornices above the first floor windows, and a deep eaves cornice.

The elevation along Allison Street has 25 bays, with blind windows on the first and second floors at bays 4, 19, 21, and 25. The ground floor includes shops at 169-177 and 191-193. The Langside Road elevation consists of 45 bays and is stepped at the roofline, with two storeys at No. 182 and blind windows on the first and second floors at bay 23.

Some original four-pane glazing remains in the timber sash and case windows, while the rest have been replaced with various styles. The original slate roof has been replaced with concrete tiles. The entrance doors on Langside Road are architraved and corniced, and there are canted dormers on this side. The stacks have been altered, and the doors have been replaced.
