Description
51 and 53 Westmoreland Street in Glasgow is a late Georgian-style tenement building from the mid to late 19th century. This four-storey structure features a public house at the corner and has a long west-facing front along Westmoreland Street, with three bays facing Allison Street. The building is constructed of stone-cleaned yellow ashlar, which is channelled at the ground level. It has architraves and a cill band at the first and second floors, and a cornice at the first floor. Most of the glazing has been modernized, and the stacks have been altered.
