Description
1 Queen Mary Avenue in Glasgow is a late 19th century tenement building designed in the late Georgian style. It stands four storeys tall and features polished ashlar stonework. The ground floor is channelled and has rusticated window-heads, while the upper floors have architraved windows. The first floor is corniced, and there are bracketed cills above the windows. The building has been re-glazed and consists of eight bays. There is a wall-head stack over the third bay, with flues gathered in its curved base. The main entablature is present, along with end and axial stacks, and the building is topped with a modern tile roof.
