Description
Mileplate at Tarvit Mill was made in 1824 by Alex Russel Kirkcaldy Foundry. It features a bowed plate with a curvilinear top and has italic letters in relief, painted in white and black. The plate is inscribed with the distances to Pettycur (20), New Inn (7), Cupar (2), and Newport (13).
