Ferrymuir Farm, Ferrymuir

Ferrymuir Farm is a stable block likely built around 1810. It has a rectangular plan and is a single storey with lofts. The building is primarily constructed of rubble, with the south elevation featuring droved ashlar. This side has seven symmetrical bays, with the central and outer bays slightly projecting forward and an additional bay on the left. The raised central bay includes alcoves beneath blind loft openings, which flank a large, altered, round-headed pend. The left flanking wing has been altered and has partially filled ground windows, with a door to the right flanking wing and one original window with a loft window above it. The building features an eaves course and cornice, with a blocking course over the outer advanced bays.

On the north elevation, there is a segmental-headed pend with a crenellated parapet, which connects to the north courtyard block through quadrant walls topped with flat coping slabs. There are lean-to flanking additions, and the roofs are piended, mostly covered with slates, although some sections have pantiles.
