Description

Steading dated 1844 (house probably contemporary). 2-storey 3-bay farmhouse, with steading to north west. House is stugged ashlar with polished dressings. South east elevation: central recessed panelled door with fanlight; 12-pane sashes. Narrow eaves band (continued along gables), skews with finialled skewputts; corniced end stacks and slate roof. Low extension to north west. Single storey steading is rubble- built, with lofts; south west gables of 2 outer parallel blocks are stugged ashlar: broad block with 3 roof ridges and large altered rectangular openings adjoins left block; right block on 2 levels;

3 arcaded cart entrances below loft openings to courtyard elevation. Modern building to north west, beyond, of no interest.
