Description
35-35A High Street in Elie is an 18th-century building with some alterations from the 19th century. It has two storeys and an attic, constructed from rubble with painted ashlar dressings and chamfered margins. The front features three windows and two recessed doors, with the left-hand door centered under the middle window. There is a blocked door next to the left-hand window, which is not centered under the window above it. The ground floor windows are wider than those on the first floor, with the left-hand first floor windows being original and the right-hand ones having been widened and lowered. The building also has two 19th-century canted dormers with flat roofs, a slated roof, and a stack on the left side that is shared with No 37.
