Description
12 Bank Street in Elie is an 18th-century building that has been altered over time. It is constructed of coursed rubble with large droved ashlar dressings and features a three-window front. The central entrance has a panelled door, with a later shop to the right that includes a blocked door and window. The building has a pantiled roof with skews at the front and crowsteps at the rear, along with ashlar end stacks. At the back, there is a large two-storey rendered addition.
The windows are four-pane sashes. There is a low wall connecting this property with number 14, which has a door in a later 19th-century surround and a small boarded opening with a large lintel.
