Description
16 Bank Street in Elie is a building from the late 18th or early 19th century that has been altered. It is two storeys high and constructed of rubble with large droved ashlar dressings and raised, painted margins at the first floor. The ground floor has been altered and painted, featuring a shop on the left, with a central door and a window to the right. There is a moulded string at the first floor level. The roof is slated, with rendered skews and stacks on the left and a brick stack on the right. The building also has catslide and flat-roofed extensions at the rear.
