The Royal Bank of Scotland, located on Bank Street in Elie, is an early 19th-century building that was originally the National Bank. It is a two-storey structure with three windows, constructed from coursed rubble and featuring printed dressings. The building has a cable-moulded scroll skew and a slated doorpiece. In 1864, a small baronial addition was made to the building, designed by David MacGibbon.
