Description
The dovecot at Pitreavie Castle is likely from the early 18th century and has a rectangular plan with harled walls. It features a grey slate lean-to roof that has crowstepped coping and beaked skewputts on either side. The entrance is located on the south side and is secured with an iron yett. There is a rat ledge at the upper level, and a row of nine entrance holes is positioned along the middle of the roof pitch.
