Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, T-plan, piend-roofed house, now hotel. Droved ashlar and harl. Base course, eaves cornice and blocking course.

NW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: Roman Doric pilastered doorpiece to centre bay at ground with panelled timber door and sunburst-astragalled semicircular fanlight, windows in flanking bays and pall stone to outer left angle; regular fenestration to 1st floor.

SE (REAR) ELEVATION: lower piended projection to centre, and modern extension projecting at ground. 3 windows to 1st floor.

SW ELEVATION: modern extension at ground, and dominant shouldered wallhead stack to centre.

12-pane and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Moulded coping to shouldered ashlar stacks.
