Osborne Hotel, Durie Street, Leven

The Osborne Hotel, located on Durie Street in Leven, is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay building designed in a T-plan with a piend roof. The exterior features droved ashlar and harl, along with a base course, eaves cornice, and blocking course.

On the northwest elevation, which is the principal facade, there is a Roman Doric pilastered doorpiece in the center bay at ground level, featuring a panelled timber door and a sunburst-astragalled semicircular fanlight. Windows are present in the flanking bays, and there is a pall stone at the outer left angle. The first floor has regular fenestration.

The southeast elevation includes a lower piended projection at the center and a modern extension that projects at ground level, with three windows on the first floor.

The southwest elevation has a modern extension at ground level and a prominent shouldered wallhead stack in the center. The building features 12-pane and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows, grey slates on the roof, and moulded coping on the shouldered ashlar stacks.
