Description

Earlier 19th century with later alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical rectangular-plan plain classical house with gabled ends. Droved painted sandstone with polished painted dressings. Base course; eaves course. Raised cills to windows.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: deep-set timber flush-panelled door with rectangular fanlight; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in flanking bays.

E (SIDE) ELEVATION: garage awning set to left at ground; window at 1st floor above; gablehead stack above.

W (SIDE) ELEVATION; blank gabled wall with piended single storey addition to centre at ground; gablehead stack above.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; slate to addition; painted ashlar coped stacks; ashlar skews; cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
