Description

Later 19th century. Single storey 3-bay, rectangular-plan Picturesque cottage. Stugged snecked stone to front elevation; tooled snecked stone elsewhere.

SW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical elevation; advanced, gabled porch to centre; door. Flanking single windows; gablet to wallhead above windows, breaking eaves. Decorative bargeboards to gablets and porch; curvilinear design to underside; finial.

NW & SE ELEVATIONS: plain elevations. Central pointed-arch nook/blocked window to centre. Decorative, curvilinear (to underside) bargeboard; finial to NW gable.

NE ELEVATION: plain elevation. Raggles of former lean-to remain. 3 small openings at ground level (now blocked).

4-pane timber windows. Boarded timber door. Timber bargeboards. Pitched slate roof; stone finial to gables (broken to NW). Central, corniced polygonal ridge stack.

INTERIOR: modernised (late 20th century). Single room to each gable with narrow central room (fireplace sat on central wall); coved ceiling.
