Description
Prestonhall House is an earlier 19th-century, symmetrical, two-storey, three-bay house. It is constructed of polished ashlar stone with rusticated quoins and painted margins. The west elevation features a central pilastered doorcase, although the original segmental-headed doorway has been blocked and replaced with a window. The principal entrance is now located on the east elevation. The house has 12-pane sash windows throughout and a cill band at the first floor. It is topped with corniced end stacks and a piended slate roof. There is also a low single-storey and attic wing extending to the east. The property is complemented by corniced square ashlar gatepiers.
