Kingsbarns Farm, Main Street (8 Smiddy Burn)

Kingsbarns Farm comprises a farmhouse and associated farm buildings dating from the 18th and early 19th centuries. The farmhouse was modernised in the early 20th century and is a two-storey, four-window structure with a harl render and slate roof. It features a porch. The farm buildings largely retain their original character, constructed of rubble with pantile roofing. A notable feature is an octagonal horsemill situated to the north. A two-storey range of buildings runs along North Street, now reroofed in asbestos, and incorporates an inset triangular pediment. A single-storey wing and a cottage, originally separate, have been converted into a garage.
