Description
Kingsbarns Farm comprises a farmhouse and associated farm buildings, dating to the 18th and early 19th centuries. The farmhouse was modernised in the early 20th century and is a two-storey, four-window structure with a harl render and slate roof. It includes a porch. The farm buildings remain largely unaltered and are constructed of rubble with pantile roofing. An octagonal horsemill survives on the north side. A two-storey range fronting North Street, originally with an inset triangular pediment, has been reroofed in asbestos. A single-storey wing and a cottage have been converted into a garage. The group value of the farm lies in the combined architectural and historical interest of the farmhouse and buildings. The statutory address is Kingsbarns Farm Main Street and North Street.
